Mauritian Football Association names players of the year

The Mauritian Football Association (MFA) Thursday named 23-year-old Fabrice Pithia and 24-year-old Natacha César the country’s players of the year in the male and female categories respectively. Pithia plays for Savannes SC while César stars for AS Quatre-Bornes. Several other prizes were awarded during the ceremony, organised in Trianon, centre of the island.

Best male player: Fabrice Pithia (Savanne SC) Best female player: Natacha César (AS Quatre-Bornes) Best male hopeful: Clarel Jackson (CTR Ouest) Best female hopeful: Anaëlle Rassoie (Bambous Black River FC) Best coach: Rajen Dorasami (Curepipe Starlight SC) Best supporters’ club: Etoile de l¹Ouest Best referee: Rajindraparsad Seechurn Best assistant referee: Balkrishna Bootun Best hopeful referee: Imteeaz Sodul
