US actor Ben Affleck and Rolling Stone superstar Mick Jagger to release film for humanitarian aid in DRC

A 23-minute film titled “gimme shelter” directed by US star Ben Affleck and backed by Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones is set to be released via the internet, mobile phones and TV. The film which features the war ravaged province of North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is to help raise US $23 million for UNHCR and other humanitarian organisations towards their activities in the area.
