Zimbabwe: 1111 die from cholera as the epidemic spreads

20,581 cholera cases with 1111 related deaths. Those are the latest figures from the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs pertaining to the spreas of the diseace in Zimbabwe. Harare is the worst affected area with almost one thousand cases and 328 related deaths reported. The cholera epidemic has so far spread to neighbouring countries including, the Democratic republic of Congo, South Africa, Mozambique as well as Botswana. 80% Zimbabweans are reportedly living without safe drinking water causing an increase in the spread of the disease.
