Nigeria and France will clash at their first full international match 3 June in St. Etienne, France, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The match will be played four days before Nigeria takes on Kenya in the final qualifying round for the 2010 World Cup/African Nations Cup. “The agreement for this match has been signed,” said NFF spokesman Demola Olajire said in the capital city of Abuja. He said the federation had wanted the game to be played in Abuja, but had to agree to St. Etienne for logistic reasons. Friendlies with Argentina and Ghana are also reported to be in the pipeline, though there are no confirmations yet.
