Chief of protocol for the Rwandan government, Rose Kabuye, who was arrested last month under an international warrant, issued by a French judge, in Frakfurt, Germany at Frances request, has been released by French authorities. Miss Kabuyes arrest sparked a wave of demonstrations in Rwanda. France accuses her of being part of a group of nine who plotted the death of the late Rwandan president, Juvenal Habyarimana, in 1994. Rose Kabuye is to appear before a court on January 10, where Rwandan Justice Minister, Tharcisse Karugarama, says her innocence will be proven.
