Several high ranking officers arrested between Saturday and Sunday, by the Guinean junta, have just joined ten arrested last week. Most are on the list of about 20 high ranking officers recently retired for “age limit and length of service”, although one of the arrested officers, former general head of staff of the army, Diarra Camara, according to close relations, does not know yet, the reason for his arrest. It is reported that they are being held in the Alpha Yaya Diallo camp, the headquarters of the National Council of Democracy and Development (CNDD).
