Esperance Sportive win North African Cup

L’Espérance Sportive de Tunis on Tuesday won the North African Cup Winners’ Cup by beating JS Béjaia of Algeria by 2-1 in the second-leg match played at Radès Stadium, near Tunis, before more than 30,000 spectators. The goals were scored by the Ivorian national Ousso Konan (5th minute) and Wajdi Bouazzi (38th minute) for l’Espérance and by Cameroonian Yanik N’jang (64th minute) for JS Béjaia. In the first-leg match, the two teams played a barren draw.
