Obama assures Americans in his speech to the nation

In his first official speech at the US congress, Tuesday, President Obama moved to reassure his fellow citizens, worried about the recession, that his government had put in place measures to put the US economy back in order. In a rather optimistic speech, he said that the US will emerge stronger. He promised that his administration will save 2 trillion dollars in the next ten years, put the automobile industry back on track, support higher education, ban the use of torture, reform the health sector, put a stop to the financing of arms against cold war, support cancer research…
