A telecommunications project between African countries and India has been launched at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. The Indian financed project will connect Africa and India together through a satellite and fibre optic network, indicated Afrique en Ligne. The objective of the project is to allow African countries to benefit from Indian expertise on health and education.
