A total number of 30 African heads of states or governments have been assassinated in the past forty years.

Monday’s killing of the president of Guinea-Bissau is the last on record.

Casafree, Tuesday, released a list of African leaders killed during this period.

The former Togolese president, Sylvanius Olympio is on top of the list.
