The Peace and Security Council of the African Union holds, Tuesday, an extraordinary meeting on Guinea-Bissau following the assassination of President Joao Bernardo Viera, Monday.
The country has remained relatively calm a day after the arbitrary killings of both the army chief and the president.
According to the Portugese secretary of state, Joao Gomes Cravinho, “the transition is being taken care of by the head of the National Assembly”.
