Over 10 000 protest against homosexuality in Burundi

Between 10 000 and 20 000 persons demonstrated, Friday, in Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi, demanding the country’s authorities to penalise homosexuality. The ruling party, CNDD-FDD, organised the demonstrations following a rejection, by the Burundi senate, of a bill that called for the penalisation of homosexuality, Têtu reports.
