A Gambian national, Momodou Bojang, has been charged for staging anti-America demonstration in The Gambia without any authority and is standing trial in Banjul, the Gambian Capital, reports claim. Bojang is reported to have staged an illegal protest, 15 January, in front of US Embassy in Gambia, during which he condemned US for doing nothing to stop the Israeli attacks in Gaza. Bojang was also accused of displaying a banner with inscriptions: America!!! For How Long Must These Lies Go On? Did I Mention Arrogance?. He, reportedly, pleaded guilty to the charges against him and therefore awaits judgement.
