Madagascar: Andry Rajoelina not participate in the National Conference

Malagasy opposition leader, Andry Rajoelina, will boycott the “national conference” to end the political unrest in the country due to begin Thursday in Antananarivo, said Augustine Andriamanaroro, one of his spokesmen. Mr. Rajoelina, who has been in hiding from an attempted arrest last week, was placed under UN protection, said Xinhua.
