The Ugandan army announced Wednesday that they have killed a commander of the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), Lieutenant Colonel Yape Okello, in southern Sudan, Jeune Afrique reports. The Ugandan army is conducting a joint operation with the Congolese army military aimed at disbanding the LRA.
