Roy Bennet, arrested by Zimbabwean authorities on charges of arms possession for the purpose of banditry, sabotage and terrorism, has been released. He was released on bail Wednesday by the Zimbabwean Supreme Court, and freed Thursday. Roy Bennet was nominated by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai to become deputy minister of agriculture in the unity government.
