The AU holds emergency meeting on the crisis in Madagascar

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU) Monday holds an “emergency meeting” on the situation in Madagascar. The meeting “will be finalized with a common statement on the latest developments in Madagascar. The Ambassador of Madagascar has been called upon to make a presentation,” said Jeune Afrique, quoting an official of the Peace and Security Department of the AU.
