South Africa: The former home of Nelson Mandela in Soweto opened to public

The house of the leader of the anti-apartheid struggle in the poor neighborhood of Soweto, South Africa, was opened to the public Thursday, reports Le Nouvel Obs. It was restored to honor the first black president of South Africa. Its walls still bear the marks of bullets fired by the police who arrested him during the apartheid regime.
