The US Embassy in Libya on Thursday re-opened a visa section exclusively for Libyans in its consular office in the country’s capital, Tripoli, sources have revealed. The visa section was closed 30 years ago following a breakdown in diplomatic relations between the two countries, culminating in the departure of the US ambassador at the time.
