The crew of the Maersk Alabama, a Danish ship carrying 20 American crew which was seized off the Somali coast, have taken control of the ship, the Danish shipowner said Wednesday. The captain is, however, still being held hostage by the pirates. The container ship was attacked at 500 km south-east of the Somali town of Eyl.
