The former president of Madagascar, Marc Ravalomanana, promised Thursday in a live telephone call to his supporters during a rally that he would “come back as soon as possible” to this country. The spokesman of his party, Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro, said earlier that he had been contacted by Andry Rajoelina’s team to begin talks, L’Express de Madagascar has reported.
