Shortly after a failed attack on a United States vessel by Somali pirates off the coast of Somalia, a French warship has rounded up the eleven Somali pirates off the coast of Kenya. Hours earlier, the pirates had launched rocket propelled grenades attacks on a ship carrying food aid to Africa. According to the BBC, news of the incidents came as the UN special envoy for Somalia said the attacks threatened international peace.
