Immigration: Italy accepts embattled Turkish cargo

After four days of talks, Italy finally decided to accept Sunday, 140 African migrants rescued from a sinking ship by a Turkish Pinar, RFI reported. Since Thursday, the illegal immigrants were the center of a tug-of-war between the Italian and Maltese authorities. While the two countries disputed the issue, a pregnant woman died on board while several people were injured.
