Muslim gunmen shot and killed two Egyptian Coptic Christians as they were leaving an Easter vigil in southern Egypt in what appears to be a five-year-old vendetta between the groups. Coptic Egyptians had been celebrating Easter in the country and millions of Christians had taken to services on Saturday evening according to their tradition. According to police, a third Copt was wounded in the attack in Hagaza village near the town of Qena, some 400 kilometres south of Cairo. Police said that they had identified the four shooters and were in the process of arresting them.
