Nigerian gunmen burst into ongoing church service to assassinate woman

Reports from the Nigerian press claim two men shot and killed a woman during Sunday Mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Apapa, in Nigeria’s economic capital city of Lagos. According to the report, the gunmen walked into the church service and opened fire on the unidentified woman after which they escaped on their motorcycle. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Marvelous Akpoyibo, has visited the church, as police investigation into the murder continues.
