Africa 24, a Pan African television channel, was Tuesday launched in France, reports Satellifax, a specialist audiovisual newspaper. According to its founder, Constant Nemali, the channel positions itself as a competitor of CNN, BBC and France 24. With an annual budget of 5 million, Africa 24 will begin its English edition by the end of 2010 and an Arabic edition by 2011.
