Kenya: Sentencing of a white aristocrat charged with homicide deferred

The sentencing of Thomas Cholmondeley, a white Kenyan from English aristocracy, convicted for the manslaughter of a Maasai poacher, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed to Thursday, BBC Africa has reported.

Mr Cholmondeley, 40, is awaiting sentencing for the killing of Mr. Nijoya on May 10, 2006, on his Soysambu ranch, northwest of Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.
