Somalia: 27 000 civilians flee as heavy fighting continues

Heavy fighting between government forces and radical Islamic militia, Al Chabaab since last week has caused at least 27 000 civilians to flee Mogadishu, the Somali capital. According to Elman, an organization for Peace and Human Rights, the clashes have resulted in 113 civilian deaths and 330 casualties among civilians.
