Murder of a British hostage by Al-Qaeda Maghreb

The North African branch of Al-Qaeda announced Tuesday that they murdered a British tourist on May 31, BBC Africa reports. Edwin Dyer was kidnapped on the 22nd of January along the Niger-Mali border. Gordon Brown, British prime minister, has condemned the act as appalling and “barbaric ”.
