The Authenticity and Modernity Party (WFP) won 6015 out of 27 795 seats, that is; 21.7% of total seats, following the Kingdom’s legislative elections held on June 12. This practically new Moroccan party has dealt a blow to the Islamist Party of Justice and Development (PJD). The PJD political group took second position in the legislative elections in 2007.
