The radical Islamist group El Shebab, which controls most of Somalia, have banned three United Nations agencies. The United Nations Program for Development (UNDP), the United Nations Political Office for Somalia (UNPOS) and the Department of Safety and Security of the United Nations (UNDSS) “will be completely closed and treated as enemies to Allah and Muslims”, according to the Department of Political Affairs and regional administration of Shebab in a communiqué, Atlas Vista has reported.
