According to Africaguinée.com, Guinean nationals will go to the polls on 31 January 2010 to elect their president. According to the information site, the date was proposed by the ad-hoc commission established to assess the transition process in Guinea. The commission also wants to hold the second round election on 14 February. Parliamentary polls have been set for March 26, 2010.
