Swine flu clashes: Clashes in Egypt after enforcement of restrictions on pilgrimage to Mecca

Dozens of people Sunday expressed their displeasure at Cairo airport in Egypt, reports BBC Africa. Travelers on their way to Mecca on pilgrimage were forced out of planes carrying them to Saudi Arabia. As part of measures taken to prevent the spread of the swine flu A (H1N1), Egypt, like many countries in the Middle East, has declared Mecca off-limits to persons under 12 years and over 65. They are the most vulnerable to the virus.
