According to Afrique En Ligne, the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi received Wednesday in New York (USA) Hans-Rudolf Merz, President of the Swiss Confederation. The latter reiterated his commitment to respect an agreement signed August 20 between the two countries. To calm the diplomatic tension that followed the arrest of Hannibal Gaddafi, who is accused of abusing his servants in Switzerland, both countries have agreed on the principle of an arbitral court composed of a Libyan judge, a Swiss judge, and another judge chosen by the other two.
