A ship captain has been executed by Somali pirates off the coast of Mogadishu, the BBC reported Friday. He had refused to obey their orders. It is believed that this is the first time such an attack has been carried out so close to the Somali capital. An international anti piracy force has been deployed in the Gulf of Aden to fight piracy.
