The Senegalese opposition have rallied against a supposed plan by President Abdoulaye Wade to remove presidential election run-offs from 2012, PressAfrik has revealed in a series of articles. Although statements made by Aliou Sow, Minister for Local Communities, have led observers to this conclusion, Wade has officially not yet spoken of such a plan.
