DRC: Minister of Economy Andre Philippe Futa dies in Paris Hotel room

Minister of Economic planning and Foreign Trade of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Andre Philippe Futa, died Thursday in Paris at the age of 63, Digitalcongo.com has reported.

Andre Philippe Futa is said to have died of a “heart attack” in his hotel room, the same source reported quoting a member of his cabinet.

Back from Venezuela where he represented President Joseph Kabila in the second South America – Africa summit (ASA), Andre Philippe Futa made a stopover in Paris and was due to return to his country on Thursday.
