Former Interpol President and ex-police Chief, Jackie Selebi, has pleaded not guilty to the corruption charges made against him, said the BBC.
The man is accused of accepting bribes worth 1.2 rand (107,000 EUR) and ties with organized crimes.
“I am ready to drop bombshell” Mr. Selebi proclaimed while leaving court.
For his lawyers, the charges are part of a conspiracy against him by the National Persecuting Authority.
