Guinean opposition parties say they refuse to engage in talks with the junta, unless Captain Dadis Camara resigns, wrote Bloomberg. The opposition also demands the arrest of all those responsible for the massacre in Conakry, which left over 157 people dead and more than 1200 injured. The African Union has given Camara until mid-October to confirm he will stay out of the next presidential elections. If the military does not obey and allow his country to return to civilian rule, the AU will impose sanctions.
