According to the BBC, the military government of Guinea has declared it will set up a commission to investigate the shooting of protesters, which took place in Conakry last week. Captain Camara stated that the 31 member commission would include seven judges from the Justice Ministry. Camara also announced in a TV interview late Wednesday that the alleged perpetrators will be arrested and prosecuted. Human Rights groups say 157 people were killed during the massacre and over 1000 wounded. The government put the figure at 57.
