According to the New York Times, France has agreed to return a set of relics to Egypt after the north African country warned of breaking ties with the Louvre Museum. The National Commission for the Museum Collections of France will give back five 3,000-year-old fragments after ruling that they were stolen from a tom in Luxor’s Valley of the King in the 1980’s, notes PressTV. Egypt said it would restore its relationship with the museum as soon the restitution is made.
