Two Ghanaian government ministers were pushed to resign by President John Evans Atta Mills, following allegations of taking bribes from an international construction firm, reports AllAfrica. Minister of Health, George Sipa Yankey and Minister of States Amada Seidu stepped down, said the Ministry of Information. PeacefmOnline notes that the resignations came after the West African country launched an investigation last month into accusations that government officials took bribes from British bridge manufacturer Maybe & Johnson between 1993 and 2001.
