According to the BBC, The European Union has called for the trial of Captain Moussa Dadis Camara, Guinea’s military leader, for crimes against humanity over the September 28th massacre. Karel de Gucht, EU’s development chief said, Camara should be held accountable for the deadly crackdown, which was “an act of brutality never seen before.” The carnage killed at least 150 people and left over 1200 wounded. “We are facing a real crime against humanity. The principal idea is that everywhere there is crime against humanity, the crime must be punished,” Mr. Gucht told reporters in Ethiopia.
