More than 30 South Africans have been arrested after protesting near a 2010 World Cup stadium in Mpumalamga Province, writes BBC. The protesters are demanding that the government keeps its promise and build a new school, instead of spending the money on the Mbombela stadium. Many South Africans are angry at the government for not providing them with basic services such as housing, water and electricity. President Zuma has sent two ministers to the area in an attempt to calm tensions.
