Ghana claimed their first major Under-20 World Cup title after winning the competition on penalties shot over Brazil. ThinkGhana states that Asante Kotoko player, Agyeman Badu scored the decisive penalty kick to hand the Black Satellites a 4-3 win in Cairo after 120 minutes. The win was the first by an African side in the age competition after Ghana had suffered two defeats in previous finals.
