Kenya: Two arrested over tourists deaths

Kenya Police officials said two people have been arrested over the deaths of a British couple on holiday in Mombassa, according to BBC. Norman Joel 70 and his wife Rita 67 are believed to have been killed in a robbery. The couple were regular visitors to Kenya and were trying to buy a property there. A Foreign Office (FO) spokesman said “there are no further details on the cause of the death at this stage.” He advised travellers to Kenya not to walk around after dark and that “muggings and armed attacks by gangs can occur at any time, particularly in Nairobi and Mombassa.”
