Refugees at a settlement in southwest Uganda have blocked all roads into the camp to protest a food-aid disruption they say has caused the deaths of several children. Congolese refugee leader, Serugendo Sekalinda said by telephone, “We have spent three months without any food supplies from government nor from any food relief or humanitarian agency.” According to CNN, the protest began Tuesday after the deaths of three children. Those were the latest of dozens of children who have died in the past two weeks from hunger.
