A 112 year old Somali has married a 17 years old girl. Ahmed Muhamed Dore, who already has 18 children by five different wives, says he hopes to have more with his new wife Safia Abdulleh. For the natural doubt as to whether she was forced into marrying the groom who fit to be her great-great-great grand father, The Telegraph quoted him as saying, “ I did not force her, but used my experience to convince her of my love, and then we agreed to marry.” The bride’s family said she was “happy with her new husband.” Somali historians described the wedding as the first of its kind in the Horn of African nation for over a century.
