Part 6
Eritrea’s importance in the Horn of Africa regional politics is dictated more by its strategic location along the Red Sea than its wealth. Despite talks of gold discovery, Eritrea is one the world’s poorest countries with an economy that was further bankrupted by a costly and absurd war with Ethiopia in 1998. Yet, Eritrea remains a regional power to reckon with. The sixth in our series about South Sudan’s pending historic independence referendum highlights Eritrea’s position; A position that naturally runs against Ethiopia’s.

Sudan — A nation divided: Eritrea and Ethiopia's proxy war -
The Eritrean Political view is more important than Eritrea's strategic location. Eritrean political view protects the interest of the people of the horn of Africa. The Eritrea people paid high price to fight against the enemies of the horn people. All the governments on the horn except Eritrea are mercenaries, 100% working for their masters. There is no proxy war, this is to misguide the honest people. - Monday 27 December 2010 - 23:11

From the article above, I do not guess, but am sure that you do not have any independent source, you only repeat what the west said. No true statement in the whole article regarding the facts of Eritrea. I am here to ask what is the new information you have about Eritrea ? Are you sure that it supported Darfur or Somalis - Al-shabab ? We know that any nation which rejects any help and be self dependent is a nation ruled by Dictators according to the west propaganda and you are only a link - Monday 27 December 2010 - 12:01
