10 medals for Libyan karate team at Arab games

The Libyan karate team has made outstanding performance after winning ten medals in various categories in the ongoing third Arab karate championship in Syria.

Libyan karateka Abdelwahad Jumaa won the gold medal in the 80-kg men’s individual fight while Mourad Abou Zemazem won silver medal in the men’s individual fight all categories.

In the men’s group fight, Soufiane Mohamed Cheklouf, Hamza Youssef Abdelnabi and Mahfoudh Ali Mahfoudh got the bronze in the group kata competitions.

Karatekas Wassim Mohamed Sadegh, Mohamed Khlifa Sahoub, Aymen Muftah Zerouk, Abdelwahed Jumaa and Mourad Belgacem Abou Zemazem bagged a bronze medal in the men’s individual fight category.

In the women’s category, Nouha Abdelaziz, Safa Habib and Ghada Fraj Naceur landed the silver medal in the group kata.

In the individual plan, Safa Habib, Ghada Fraj Nacuer and Nouha Abdelaziz each won the bronze medal in the 60-kg individual fight category.
